ANU photographs are a digitised selection from several series of photographs, transparencies and contact or proof sheets held in the ANU Archives. ANU staff photographers took many of these photographs for marketing purposes. The images reflect the process of taking many exposures on a film roll from which the best frame would be chosen for publication or use. Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people should be aware that these photographs include images and names of people who are deceased. Please be aware that words and descriptions reflect the period in which they were created and may be culturally insensitive or considered inappropriate today. Many of the photographs have limited or no information about the subject. If you can help us identify any of the people, places or dates in these images please contact archives@anu.edu.au
