Helen Groger-Wurm

Helen Groger-Wurm was an Austrian anthropologist and linguist. After completing her PhD at Vienna University, she undertook fieldwork in Papua New Guinea and northern Australia with her husband, the linguist Stephen Wurm, in the 1950s and 1960s.

Her collection on Open Research currently consists of her large collection of slides from these fieldwork trips as well as visits to Europe, the United States and South-East Asia. Further records from Groger-Wurm's collection can be found at ANUA 260 at the ANU Archives.
