A Map Series is a collection of topographic or thematic maps produced using the same scale and cartographic specifications. Each map/sheet within the series is identified using the Series name, Scale and Sheet name and/or Sheet number.


Index maps, within • PNG01 - Map Indexes, show the graphic location and extent of each of the maps within a particular series and their relationship to each other.
