Allan Flinders Gow

Allan Flinders Gow was an Australian public servant and member of the armed forces. After military service during World War II, he served as a patrol officer or kiap in the civil administration of Papua New Guinea in South-West Bougainville, New Ireland, Madang, the Rai Coast, Manus, and the Southern and Eastern Highlands. He retired in 1972.

His collection on Open Research currently consists of slides from his postings in Papua New Guinea and some personal material. Further records from Gow's collection can be found at ANUA 634 at the Australian National University Archives.
