The 1st Biennial TransTasman Conference on Australians and New Zealanders in Christian Missions, at Home and Abroad was held at The Australian National University in Canberra between the 8th and the 10th October 2004, hosted by Division of Pacific and Asian History in the Research School of Pacific and Asian Studies, Australian National University. The conference seeks to encourage academic research and writing on the contribution of Australians and New Zealanders to Missionary Enterprises in New Zealand, Australia, and overseas in the 19th and 20th Centuries.
