| dc.description.abstract | A film about the Mungo Lady who was cremated and buried approximately 25,000 years ago. In 1968, archaeologists removed the remains of the Mungo Lady for examination. This footage follows discussion by descendants of people from the same area about how the Mungo Lady should be treated. Although her remains were returned to Lake Mungo in January 1992, they currently reside in a bank vault for safe keeping. -- AIATSIS | |
