Abstract

As part of a larger project on comparative European foreign policies, this paper examines the responses of four European states: the UK, France, Germany and Poland, and the European Union, to the recent conflict in Iraq. It considers characteristics of and influences on the foreign policy positions adopted by these actors including the domestic contexts and relations with the United States.
