dc.description.abstractThere are many gains in economic efficiency to be made by the implementation of programs of privatisation?in all its forms?in the island states of the South Pacific. But programs should be implemented only after rigorous analysis of possible adverse consequences. Privatisation is but one facet of an overall program of economic and public administration reform.
