Abstract

This thesis is a study of price level behaviour and economic growth in the Philippines over the period 1964 -65. Its aims are to explain the deflationary and inflationary movements in the price level within the context of post-war economic reconstruction and growth and to assess the effects of these movements on economic reconstruction and growth.
