Abstract

It is now generally accepted that the radio frequency radiation observed from extragalactic sources is produced by the synchrotron process . However, no satisfactory theory explaining the origin of radio sources, their evolution , source of energy, or relation to other extragalactic objects has yet emerged . Advances in this direction will depend on further observational guidelines .
