Economic reforms and structural change in Papua New Guinea: progress, performance and prospects

Abstract

Economic reforms geared towards alleviating the liquidity crisis and achieving structural reform to improve competitiveness and growth potential under the sponsorship of the World Bank and the IMF have been underway in Papua New Guinea since August 1995.
