Abstract

Safeguards in connection with the Treaty on the Non- Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons ("the NPT")^ are applied by the International Atomic Energy Agency ("the IAEA") in the non-nuclear-weapon States ("NNWS") of the European Atomic Energy Community ("Euratom"} pursuant to the Agreement between Belgium, Denmark, the Federal Republic of Germany, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, the European Atomic Energy Community and the International Atomic Energy Agency in Implementation of Article III, (1) and (4) of the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons 1 0.
