Abstract

Acacia peuce ('Waddy-wood') is a unique member of the Eremaean flora, (Burbidge, 1960) and an outstanding example of xerophytic adaptation, attaining heights of 15m and stem diameters of 0.5m within one of the most extreme arid environments in Australia.
