Abstract
Bilinara is a Pama-Nyungan language of the north-west of the Northern Territory. It is a member of the Ngumpin subgroup which forms a part of the larger ’Northern Western Desert Type'. Other languages also belonging to the Ngumpin subgroup, to which Bilinara is very similar, are Gurindji, Ngarinman, Malngin, Nyininy, Mudbura, Djaru and Walmatjari.
