Abstract

In the past a substantial amount of work has been carried out on tracer diffusion in metals and several different mechanisms have been proposed to explain the mode of diffusion in a crystalline lattice. However, relatively little work exists on the diffusion in supercooled liquids like glass (Homosil) used in the present studies.
