Sexual behaviour in India with risk of HIV/AIDS transmission

Description

The estimate of cumulative HIV-positive persons in India by the end of 1994 ranges from 900,000 to 1.9 million. The corresponding figures projected for 2000 are 2.1 million to 6.7 million. The estimate of cumulative AIDS cases in India by 2000 ranges from 500,000 to 1.2 million.
