The rehabilitation of coffee plantations in Papua New Guinea: the case of Obihaka

Through a case study of the Obihaka plantation, this article examines the possibility of PNG landowner groups rehabilitating run-down coffee plantations through the use of 'sweat equity' and other in-kind and cash contributions.
