Numerical Analysis of Spatial Mode-Field Overlap on Confinement Loss in Negative-Curvature Fibers

Description

We investigate the effect of mode-field overlap on confinement loss in negative-curvature fibers. We show that the mode-field overlap is one of the key factors governing the modal interactions and confinement loss in negative-curvature fibers.
