As strategic competition between China and traditional powers, particularly the US, rapidly unfolds in the Indo-Pacific region, it is worth examining the response of the Pacific Island countries (PICs). This two-part series provides a comparative analysis of the addresses by 12 PIC leaders to the 75th session of the United Nations (UN) General Assembly in September 2020.
