Abstract

Description

Two winged gods (not shown) frame the scene. Their gestures, which indicate pollination, must refer exclusively to the ruler, seated on a throne, as usual palm tree is missing. Two eunuchs (?) guard & fan him and hand him food. This is probably a ceremony of the type shown so often on Early Dynastic monuments. -- British Museum.
