Shows by goblet in his hands that he took part in a religious banquet ceremony, such as has been established without doubt for this very temple : hundreds of similar goblets were lying in a side-chamber, where they had obviously been deposited after such ceremonies. Votive gifts, bronze figures, works in stone and excavation-finds repeatedly bear witness to this, obviously central, rite. The relief on the plinth is unfinished : an Im dugud hovers over two gazelles. -- (see WA-33), veined gypseous stone, hair and beard blackened with bitumen, eyes of shell and black limestone set in bitumen, h : 72 cm (Iraq Museum).
