Place.Time.Play: Contemporary art from the West Heavens to the Middle Kingdom

Abstract

A contemporary art exchange and exhibition project involving Indian and Chinese artists. Project team included Project Commissioner Chang Tsong-Zung, Exhibition Curator Dr Chaitanya Sambrani, and Project Manager Chen Yun, supported by China Academy of Art and Shanghai International Culture Association. Exhibition dates in Shanghai: 23 October to 20 December 2010. Three venues, 15 artists (including two collectives), 43 works encompassing sculpture, installation, painting, photography, video.
