Frustrated Modernity: Kerewo Histories and Historical Consciousness, Gulf Province, Papua New Guinea

This thesis takes Kerewo historical consciousness as the frame for an analysis of the ways in which reflections on the past are fundamentally informed by orientations towards the future.
