Abstract
Akha is one of the better known of the lesser
known Sino-Tibetan languages. As the case has been put
in the Sino-Tibetan fascicles of Anthropological
Linguistics, Sino-Tibetan is a cover term for a large
number of languages showing strong grammatical
affinities and lexical cognates.
