Health and well-being in relation to high density living in Hong Kong
The study which is presented here comprises an investigation of the biopsychic responses to high density living in the population of Hong Kong. It was carried out as a part of the Hong Kong Human Ecology Programme. A review of the relevant literature reveals that conditions of high denisty have a detrimental influence on health and social behaviour in animal populations.
