Abstract
The main body of this thesis is a translation with notes

incidents involving her family by Lady Hong of the Hyegyǒng
Palace (1725-1815). She was the daughter of Hong Pong-han
(1713-1778), daughter-in-law of King Yǒngjo, and consort of the
heir apparent Crown Prince Sado (1735-1762), mother of King
