Abstract
The synthetic studies disclosed in this Thesis were
focused on exploiting a series of reactions, namely a
palladium-catalyzed Ullmann cross-coupling reaction and a tandem
reductive cyclization mediated by Raney-cobalt, for the synthesis
of Aspidosperma and Kopsia alkaloids.
