Abstract
Description
Usual layout in superimposed registers, but break with convention in the representation of figures. Instead of being grouped in the compact phalanx of the Sumerians, the Akkadian fighting men move in looser formations. Their arms and accoutrements are also different. They are more lightly clad and less hampered in their movements
armed with bow and arrow, they must have been effective at long range.
