Dr Ann McGrath is a senior research fellow at the ANU Centre for Cross-Cultural Research where she is working on a major project, Gender and Frontier in Australia and the US. Ann McGrath's previous publications include Born in the Cattle: Aborigines in Cattle Country and she has edited Contested Ground: Aborigines under the British Crown.
