Title imposed. Caption on the rear of the photograph: "luluai & group of smaller pygmies - Atemble". Captions reflect the attitudes of the author at the time they were written, and do not reflect the values of the archives. Stinear occasionally notes weather conditions and brightness when taking photographs. These photographs were taken during Stinear's time in Papua New Guinea from 1936-1937, in the Sepik, Ramu, and Gulf regions.
