Abstract

Description

Also known as Ch'u P'ing (Zhu Ping). A native of Ying, who is still famous throughout the length and breadth of China as the type of loyal minister. Under Prince Huai of the Ch'u (Chu) state he was appointed San Lu. On falling into disfavour he composed the allegorical poem Li Sao, a description of the writer's search after a prince who will listen to good counsels in government.
