Abstract
Description
Colouring is the distinctive mark of the early products of Baysunghur's atelier, especially the various reds and orange, brilliant but never harsh. Gold skies are discreetly introduced in the corner, above a rose-pink tower, etc., all to be standard devices in later Timurid painting, though never again used with such purity. 9.75 x 6".
