Photographer's note: On emerging from the Nali doline, the last long steep descent to the narrow Strickland plain could be seen
white cockatoos and hornbills flew above the tree-tops below. Stretching into the distance was the vast flat forested Fly-Strickland plain. This photograph was taken in the Nali Gorge.
