| dc.description.abstract | Few indigenous foods were grown on the island. Foodstuffs used were bought mostly in their entirety from island stores, that is, they were imported foods. Note that there are some bananas at the lagoon. Some pandanus and coconuts grow on the coastal belt of the island. | en_AU |
