A very elegant and controlled style is present in this relief depicting the incident of the offering of dust, Like so many of the scenes from Buddha's life, the master is shown in a throng of followers administering to their desire to speak with him and accepting whatever they may give him in the spirit of a true ascetic, A very complex movement in the turn of Buddha's body has been executed masterfully in this example, further attesting to the skill of the Ghandarans in handling three-dimensional forms in a confined space, -- London, British Museum,
