Abstract

An advertisement that superimposes a text panel on a retouched photograph. The photograph shows three horses pulling a Crossley car out of the Towamba River (also known as the Kiah River) after the bridge was washed away by floodwaters. A number of men on both sides of the river watch the incident. A crossing arrangement of planks and a windlass can be seen on the left bank and there appears to be a jetty structure on the right shore. A large sign with the Dunlop logo and the caption: Dunlops give the Best Service, has been painted in the background.
