Abstract

Description

This photograph was taken south of the Burnett (Dio/Djalo) River, universal grid reference 54M XU 443650. The photographer accompanied this party of men into Febi Territory in December 1979. Photographer's note: The Febis had been uncomfortable during the crossing of the Muller Range as they were cold, the track was rugged and they were afraid of falling into sinkholes. They also refused to drink any water as they said that it was so cold that is would break their teeth.
