dc.descriptionThis photograph was taken at the Bulong longhouse, 142. 19 E. 5. 49 S. Universal grid reference 54M XU454573 (1: 100 000 Karoma map sheet 7386). Photographer's note: Green cooking bananas are a major part of the Febi diet. Cooking bananas are roasted and eaten as a vegetable. Their taste is similar to cold potatoes and are very dry and difficult to swallow.
