Abstract
Description
Persian elements include the arched recesses and balconies just visible, and a terrace of red sandstone ornamented with geometrically patterned jali before the tomb. Persian architects employed were Ustad Ahmad and Ustad Hamid, and use of open terraces and balconies is attributed to them. The un-Persian features include the rounding of corners with curved marble tiles, and use of pure white marble, suppressing colour.
