dc.descriptionA descendant of Confucius in the thirty-second degree, and a distinguished scholar and public functionary. He wrote a commentary on the Canon of Changes, and was also the reputed author of the ti chi (diji) and lieh chuan (liejuan) sections of the History of the Sui dynasty.
