Abstract

Set of four Christmas and New Year cards said to date from period 1890 - 1900. Images are black and white photographs of collage compositions of photographs of people (including "Kanakas"), buildings (including houses, school, hospital, police station, hotels, churches, general store, saddler, butchery, post office, bank), mills, plantations, sugar cane, garden, windmill, boats, wharf, lagoon and general views.
