Abstract

Map shows routes to gold fields, extending from Sydney in the south, to Grafton and Warialda in the north, and Orange and Molong in the west. It was included with the pamphlet, "Guide to the Northern Gold Fields by an Old Bushman" published by Woolcott & Clarke (digitised and available online: http://hdl.handle.net/1885/287196). Although by different publishers, the pamphlet and map were advertised and sold together, see article in the Empire (Sydney): (1856, August 1). Empire (Sydney, NSW : 1850 - 1875), p. 5.
