dc.descriptionThe Noel Butlin Archives Centre also holds property and manager files for this hotel. The Star was in Mort Street, Balmain. In 1930, Tooth Purchased and built a new pub on cnr. of Darling and Elliot Streets, Balmain. They transferred the Star's license to the new premise. The photo on this yellow card is the hotel on the corner of Darling and Elliot Streets. Renamed Cat and Fiddle (yellow card 129).
