The CD sign of this band is according to the prediction made by the quadrant rule previously established for the oxirane chromophore. It seems that the quadrant rule can be applied to substituents other than alkyl groups.3enAn extension of the quadrant rule in oxiranes to non-alkyl substituents: the CD of R (-)- and S (+)-epichlorohydrin1991-05-3110.1016/0009-2614(91)85154-O0042616644
