Main track across Ant Hill Flat, appreciated by cyclist because going is firm. -- 9. Spinifex and rabbit burrows. -- 10. Dunlop tyres defy thorns and burrs. -- 11. The tyres selected by Reichenbach for the ride were Dunlop "Thornproof" tyres.
