The aim of the Better Cardiac Care Data Linkage project is to describe patient care pathways and to identify disparities in care and health outcomes between Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and other Queensland residents diagnosed with CVD in the state of Queensland. The study is being financially supported by a competitive tender from the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health Branch, Queensland Health. LJW is supported by a National Health and Medical Research Centre Early Career Fellowship (1142035). AD was supported in part by a Menzies Early Career Accelerator Fellowship.
