A 700 mW Nd:YAG laser at 1064 nm was used to pump a second-harmonic generator (SHG). The 532 nm green light from the SHG was used to pump the optical parametric amplifier cavity. Results showed that the electro-optic feedforward loop improved the signal transfer efficiency of the QND system. Keywords: Amplification; Electrooptical effects; Neodymium lasers; Optical beam splitters; Parametric amplifiers; Phase modulation; Photodiodes; Pumping (laser); Quantum efficiency; Second harmonic generation; Spectrum analysis; Optical parametric amplifiers (OPA);Squeezing more from a quantum nondemolition measurement20012015-12-12
