This is reflected by their adoption in the practice of ontology and software engineering. Similarly, visual representations of information are often seen as beneficial with, for example, software engineering making use of the suite of diagrammatic notations forming the UML. Likewise, ontology engineering has seen the development of a variety of different visualizations for classes and properties. This paper combines these two strands of work, making visual (diagrammatic) patterns available to ontology engineers.enPublisher Copyright: Copyright © 2013 for the individual papers by the papers' authors.Towards diagrammatic ontology patterns201384925262822
