Our calculations are based upon the relativistic polarized-orbital method and include both static and dynamic polarization potentials as well as an absorption potential to simulate the loss of flux into other channels. The inclusion of these absorption effects significantly improves upon our previous calculations, bringing them into very good to excellent agreement with experimental measurements of the differential cross sections as well as the total and momentum transfer cross sections over the energy range from 10 to 200 eV.Keywords: Absorption; Atoms; Electrons; Krypton; Mathematical models; Polarization; Elastic scattering; Krypton atoms; Atomic physicsElastic Scattering of Electrons from Krypton200310.1088/0953-4075/36/19/0082015-12-12
