In this paper, we consider the skyline query problem in Wireless Sensor Network with an objective to maximize the network lifetime by proposing filter-based distributed algorithms for skyline evaluation and maintenance. We also conduct preliminary experiments to evaluate the performance of the proposed algorithms. The experimental results demonstrate that the proposed algorithms significantly outperform existing algorithms on various datasets. Keywords: Data sets; Distributed algorithm; Energy efficient; Filter-based; Filtering algorithm; Network lifetime; Preference analysis; Skyline; Skyline query; Energy efficiency; Indexing (of information); Knowledge management; Maintenance; Mathematical operators; Filtering algorithm; Network lifetime; Sensor network; SkylineEnergy-Efficient Skyline Query Processing and Maintenance in Sensor Networks200810.1145/1458082.14583392016-02-24
